INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION FORUM FOR E-GOVERNMENT AND E-HEALTH SERVICE PROVIDERS 2014 IN VIENNA, AUSTRIA

eGovernment and eHealth companies and service providers from across the globe now have the unique opportunity to extend their network and find new business partners as part of the International Cooperation Forum 2014. The event will be held at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Vienna on 20th October 2014.

eGovernment is a synonym for modern and efficient administration. On an international level, the European Commission’s eHealth Action Plan 2011 – 2015 supports the provision of a new generation of eGovernment services. The objective is to increase the take-up of eGovernment services: the target is that by 2015 50% of citizens and 80% of businesses should use eGovernment services.

Also, local and international healthcare systems can benefit from information and communication technologies (ICT) by increasing their efficiency, improving quality of life and unlocking innovation in health markets.

Austria has been playing a trailblazing role in this area for several years now. Austrian public administrators and service providers have a wealth of experience in designing, developing, implementing and operating successful eGovernment and eHealth projects.

The International Cooperation Forum 2014 with a focus on eGovernment and eHealth is targeted at service providers, companies, public authorities and potential buyers from all over the world who work in the following areas or who offer similar products:

  • Central register (Registry of residents, land registry, commercial register)
  • Identifikation (identity cards etc.)
  • Usability and web accessibility (WAI)
