Sustainable Entrepreneurship – THE Business Model of the Future

Become the 2014 Sustainable Entrepreneur of the Year! Responsible companies from all over the world are invited to compete in the 2014 Sustainable Entrepreneurship Award. The closing date for submissions is 30 April 2014.

The Sustainable Entrepreneurship Award (SEA) recognises companies which have integrated sustainable entrepreneurship into their core business and reaped the benefits from this approach.
A high-profile network from the worlds of politics, business and society have been spreading the SEA ideas across the world and positioning sustainable entrepreneurship as the business model of the future. SEA ambassadors include UN Messenger of Peace Jane Goodall, President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso, US Senator Marc R. Pacheco and the founder and CEO of Idea Connection Systems Inc. Robert B. Rosenfeld.
This year’s SEA jury consists of international decisionmakers at the highest levels such as Harvard Professor John D. Spengler, MEP Alojz Peterle, Boston College Professor (Ret) Bradley Googins, Executive Board Member of Bertelsmann Stiftung Brigitte Mohn, Founder of Transparency International Peter Eigen, as well as Franz Fischler, former EU Commissioner and Chairman of the SEA jury.
Awards for the “Best Projects” and the “Best Idea” will be presented at the gala event on 7 October 2014 in Vienna’s Hofburg Palace. The most exceptional project will be awarded €10,000.
Companies who are planning projects and concepts which embrace sustainable entrepreneurship or have already realised them, can apply at www.se-award.org . Submissions can be submitted from now until 30 April 2014.
